However, most agents make similar wages to other industries. The median and average incomes could be much higher for real estate agents, but many agents only work part-time, many agents have no idea what they are doing, and many agents do not have the discipline to motivate themselves. I have been an agent and broker since I would not judge what you can make as an agent on the median salary because there are so many variables involved.
